One of our clients owns a piece of land with a leat running down through it. The leat powered a waterwheel. Over the years the land had become increasingly overgrown from previous owners neglecting the land. Woodgates trees were employed to cut through all the years of overgrowth to make the land accessible again.
In order to gain access to the land we had to cross the leat just before where it rejoined the river. In order to do this we had to winch ourselves through the thick mud and silt with the wood chipper in tow. Further on down the piece of land we had to build a bridge in order to cross a ditch. Again we had to take the large wood chipper with us over the bridge.
Our client was very happy with the efficient manner in which we overcame the obstacles with.
